The presentation is based on conversations with a Ukrainian Gen Z girl working in Poland and Ukrainian psychologist involved in crisis interventions from start of the Ukrainian conflict. At some point, Ukrainian girl felt the "call of courage " to go back to her country and then war started. It is a story about human needs in a crisis and what matters the most. What are the conditions for connection and recovery, and what these who decide to support are comforted with. What crisis intervention model helped ? And last but not least, what are the gaps in the intervention models worldwide to address what happened in Ukraine,
