Pain is part of life. Pain can shape our lives. This workshop is designed to provide insight to the different types of human pain and how we can learn to navigate pain towards wellness. Topics discussed include the six types of pain that effect individuals and groups. Example topics include understanding the issues of shame, guilt, and condemnation will be examined. Whether you would like to understand pain to help yourself or like to understand pain to help others, this workshop will provide you with the skills to shift pain from hurting to healing. The six types of pain and the six dimensions of pain will be discussed. The concept of "second storm" interventions will be defined and discussed.
