CEO Behavioral Wellness Resources SHERWOOD, Oregon, United States
No one likes to deal with death and dying, but unfortunately, it does play a role and has an impact in all of our lives. With an understanding and a little compassion on the part of emergency responders, the grief process can be facilitated for the surviving family members as well as the responders themselves. “Scenes of Compassion” is an internationally recognized course revealing how responders can dramatically impact the emotions of people at emergency scenes. Participants learn simple tools for recognition, assist in alleviation and recovery of those in human emotional crisis. PLUS - learn newer research regarding the "science" of showing compassion and how it minimizes stress on the responder!
