Compassion Fatigue is the cost of caring, the price we pay for doing our work. The training will include a number of tests we use, some very familiar and well known, others specific to critical incident, that will identify the level of compassion fatigue a given individual is at.By the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of how much compassion fatigue the are suffering , how to recognize it, and what to do about it. The tests each individual fills out will identify their compassion fatigue level. The training will provide immediate knowledge of how much each person is experiencing, based completely on their tests scoring. The second part of the session will identify a series of measures to take to address the compassion fatigue issues.
