Harvey J. Burnett, Jr. holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (2001) and a Master’s of Divinity (1994) from Andrews University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1991) from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He is a Professor of Psychology and chair of the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences and is a fully licensed psychologist in Michigan. He is also the Chief of Police with the Buchanan Police Department and has over 28 years of law enforcement experience. Dr. Burnett serves as the clinical director of the Berrien County CISM Team and has over 20 years of CISM experience.
